26 Jul Husky Terminal of Tacoma

The Husky Terminal Lighting Project, completed by Lumenal Lighting, involved a comprehensive LED lighting upgrade at the Port of Tacoma. Following a detailed audit and collaboration with Holophane on photometric simulations, Lumenal replaced 584 outdated HID fixtures with 288 high-performance Holophane LED fixtures to significantly improve illumination, energy efficiency, and safety while reducing fixture count. The completed project achieved over 70% reduction in lighting energy consumption, saving approximately $20,000 annually in maintenance costs. The project saved over 1MM kWh of energy.
