JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

Journeyman Electrician (Washington State and Oregon)

Lumenal Lighting is a privately held electrical contracting company specializing in energy efficiency projects such as lighting retrofits and lighting controls. We are always on the lookout for well-qualified Journeyman Electricians licensed in Washington State or Oregon, and lighting maintenance workers qualified in the state of Oregon. Primary work area is the I-5 corridor from the Bellingham, WA to Eugene, OR, with a high concentration in the Seattle and Portland metro areas.

Requirements and Aspects for the Position:

  • Valid Washington State or Oregon state Electrical Journeyman License
  • Proof of Covid vaccine required for most job sites
  • Commercial/industrial work experience preferred
  • Punctuality and good communication
  • Pass a drug test, vehicle record, and background check
  • Driven to be pro-active and timely
  • Controls experience a plus
  • Possess a current driver’s license
  • Eligible to work legally in the United States
  • Have reliable transportation

Position Details:

  • Full-time position
  • Competitive pay, often Prevailing Wage
  • Most shifts are 5 eight-hour days or 4 ten-hour days
  • Work schedules are day, swing, or nighttime
  • Lodging and per diem provided for out-of-town work
